Snowflake Senior Solutions Architect

Summary: The Snowflake Senior Solutions Architect is responsible for engaging with customers to oversee the implementation of their Snowflake platform, providing technical leadership, and acting as a trusted advisor to executive leadership. The role requires translating business requirements into well-architected recommendations and developing future state roadmaps while leveraging best practices to mitigate risks. Additionally, the architect will collaborate with Snowflake teams to align customer goals with Snowflake's objectives and provide expertise in AI/ML functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Directly engage with customers individually or as part of a technical delivery team
• Oversee and advise on the implementation of the customers Snowflake platform
• Demonstrate technical leadership through personally developed code, solution architectures and implementation recommendations
• Act as a trusted advisor to customer executive leadership for thought leadership and solution approaches
• Extract business requirements from customers and translate them into a well-architected recommendation
• Develop and provide forward looking guidance and future state roadmaps
• Leverage known best practices and solutions to reduce risk to customer implementations
• Decompose future state goals into actionable execution plans
• Collaborate with Snowflake GTM and product teams to ensure customer alignment to Snowflake goals
• General enablement on Cortex functionality and features (Cortex Search, Cortex Analyst, DocAI, etc.)
• Knowledgeable on when to use Cortex search, decision matrix, etc. to frame the customer's decisions
• Knowledgeable on GenAI capabilities - Given a problem, what is the best ways to resolve it
• RAG, how embeddings work, DocAI, how to do good setup to ensure your ML model is strong
• Understands strengths and weaknesses of Cortex
• Foundational AI/ML understandings with the ability to dive deeper into further functionalities
