Summary: The role of SLM Configuration Consultant involves supporting the deployment and customization of service engineering objects within a PLM environment. The consultant will work remotely on a two-month project, focusing on configuring and extending data models for Service Plan, Service Requirement, and Work Card modules. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in service lifecycle data structures and customization to meet specific customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and deploy Service Plan, Service Requirement, and Work Card modules within an SLM or PLM platform.
  • Customize and extend the data models for Service Plan, Service Requirement, and Work Card to support customer-specific business processes.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects, business analysts, and end-users to define technical requirements and deliver tailored SLM solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity, system performance, and configuration consistency across the service lifecycle modules.
  • Participate in workshops, design sessions, and customer-facing reviews to gather input and provide recommendations on best practices.
  • Support integration efforts with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, MES, Field Service) as it pertains to service data.
  • Develop documentation, configuration guides, and user support materials related to the implemented SLM functionality.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with SLM or PLM tools (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Dassault ENOVIA).
