Summary: As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will focus on enhancing scalability through collaboration and automation, applying engineering principles to infrastructure and operational challenges. Your role involves working with various teams to streamline processes, reduce risks, and improve communication, ultimately transforming their workflows for better efficiency. You will maintain a scalable platform's programmable infrastructure, ensuring high availability of workloads during both production and delivery phases. Continuous improvement and automation will be central to your approach, as you aim to eliminate inefficiencies in operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Minimising downtime to products & services
- Ensuring the platform is stable, scalable, and completely automated
- Helping to improve and shorten development/process lifecycles
- Applying effective monitoring & alerting in place
- Supporting release through stable and automated pipeline processes
Key Skills:
- Experience within C#, Azure, DevOps & Bicep
- Managed/implement large scale distributed server systems within Azure
- Worked on modern release pipelines – CI/CD (Octopus Deploy/Azure DevOps/TeamCity)
- Knowledge of Azure monitoring, alerting, message queues
- Understand or worked within an Incident Management Process (ITSM)
