Summary: The Silver Peak SD-WAN Subject Matter Expert (SME) is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SD-WAN deployments across 100 branch locations for clients. This remote position requires deep technical knowledge of Silver Peak SD-WAN solutions and excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. The role also involves providing mentorship to junior engineers and ensuring alignment of SD-WAN solutions with client business objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network engineering, particularly with Silver Peak technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of Silver Peak SD-WAN solutions across 100 branch locations.
  • Develop and document detailed network designs, configurations, and migration plans tailored to each branch.
  • Ensure that SD-WAN solutions are aligned with clients' business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Serve as the go-to expert for all Silver Peak SD-WAN-related inquiries and issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Silver Peak SD-WAN features, updates, and best practices.

  • Track project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for SD-WAN designs, configurations, and support procedures for each branch location.
  • Generate regular reports on project status, network performance, and client satisfaction.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on SD-WAN solutions.
  • Proven experience with Silver Peak SD-WAN technology is required.
