Detailed Description From Employer:

Frontend Developer - Shopify / Liquid
Contract or Permanent | Fully Remote
We’re Standard 8. We work with a number of established Shopify partners who need an experienced Shopify developer to support ongoing eCom builds and new launches.
While the role is mainly focused on Frontend, we also encourage Fullstack Developers to apply, as that would be a big plus. It’s especially great if you’ve got experience with either PHP or Node.js.
You’ll be joining delivery teams (Product, Design and other Devs) building and optimising serious e-commerce platforms. That means custom Shopify themes, complex integrations and frontend builds that need to perform under pressure.
Day to day, you’ll be:

  • Developing and extending Shopify themes using Liquid
  • Building clean, scalable solutions with JavaScript, HTML5 and S/CSS, Tailwind etc.
  • Integrating third-party systems via APIs without creating future headaches
  • Keeping performance front of mind, speed, responsiveness, stability
  • Reviewing and refining code to maintain standards across the build

What we’re looking for
You’ve delivered Shopify projects in the real world. You understand how agencies operate. You know how to balance quality with pace.
We need:

  • Solid commercial Shopify experience (custom themes, Liquid, integrations)
  • Strong JavaScript, HTML and CSS
  • Some full-stack awareness around PHP or NodeJS
  • A practical approach to performance and maintainability
  • The confidence to push back when required
  • Modern JS frameworks (Vue, React / NextJS) or TypeScript, but that’s not absolutly essential
