SharePoint SME / SharePoint Architect / SharePoint Lead

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SharePoint SME/Architect/Lead with strong expertise in SharePoint Online migrations, architecture, governance, and information architecture. The ideal candidate will lead enterprise migration initiatives from File Shares to SharePoint Online while collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and well-governed solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead File Share to SharePoint Online migration projects using Migration Manager and ShareGate.
• Design migration strategies, perform assessments, pre-scans, incremental migrations, and validation.
• Define SharePoint Online architecture, governance, permissions, metadata, and lifecycle management.
• Analyze and remediate NTFS, AD, Entra ID, and SharePoint permissions.
• Design site structures, navigation, document libraries, and search experiences.
• Coordinate migration waves, cutovers, hypercare, and project status tracking.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable SharePoint solutions.
• Partner with executives, legal, governance, business, and technical teams throughout project delivery.

Must Have

• 12+ years of SharePoint experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise with SharePoint Online, Migration Manager, and ShareGate.
• Experience leading enterprise migration and governance initiatives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• EST time zone availability preferred.
