SFI Architect (E&U Cloud; CPQ)

Summary: The role of Vlocity CPQ Architect involves leading the design and implementation of Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud solutions for a global partner in the energy and utilities sector. The architect will focus on complex Lead-to-Cash processes, ensuring scalability and compliance with industry regulations. This position requires technical leadership and mentorship for internal teams and clients, along with the customization of Vlocity tools. The role is primarily remote with occasional travel to the office in Sweden.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud CPQ solutions, including Product Catalog, Pricing, Contracting, and Order Management, tailored for utility and energy service providers.
• Configure and customize Vlocity Omnistudio (Omniscripts, Data Raptors, Integration Procedures, FlexCards) for CPQ use cases and develop complex pricing models, bundled offers, and contract lifecycle management.
• Lead solution design workshops, translating utility industry requirements into scalable CPQ solutions, and provide technical leadership to internal teams and clients.
• Design integration strategies with billing systems (SAP IS-U, Oracle CC&B), CRM, ERP platforms, and oversee integration with energy back-office systems (SCADA, GIS, AMI, MDMS).
• Ensure scalability, performance, and security best practices in Salesforce Industries CPQ deployments, including compliance with utility regulations and data governance policies.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to Salesforce CPQ and Vlocity developers, conducting training and enablement sessions.
• Define and enforce best practices, coding standards, and architecture guidelines for Vlocity CPQ and Energy & Utilities Cloud implementations.
• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and system optimizations to ensure the success of CPQ solutions and adherence to regulatory standards.
