Summary: The ServiceNow Solutions Architect - SPM role involves joining a rapidly growing ServiceNow consultancy in the UK, focusing on Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM). This is a fully remote contract position, with occasional travel to client sites and team meetings in London. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various SPM capabilities and a strong understanding of ServiceNow. The client is looking to expedite the hiring process with interviews scheduled for the following week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and optimize ServiceNow SPM capabilities.
- Manage Demand Management processes including capturing, assessing, prioritizing, and approving demands.
- Oversee Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tasks such as project creation, planning, execution, and benefits tracking.
- Implement Program & Portfolio Governance including stage gates and investment tracking.
- Conduct Resource Management for capacity planning and skills matching.
- Facilitate Financial Planning & Tracking for budgeting and forecasting.
- Connect portfolio strategy to delivery through Agile Development & SAFe methodologies.
- Manage Application Portfolio Management (APM) if in scope.
Key Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow SPM.
- Hands-on experience with Demand Management, PPM, and Resource Management.
- Strong understanding of Financial Planning & Tracking processes.
- Familiarity with Agile Development & SAFe methodologies.
- Experience with Application Portfolio Management (APM) is a plus.

Head Resourcing are looking for a ServiceNow Solutions Architect to join one of the UK's fastest growing ServiceNow consultancies. This is a fully remote role contract (must be UK based). An openness to travel is key as there is an expectation to visit clients on occasion and team meet ups in London, however remote working is offered primarily.
(The client is keen to move fast through this process with interview blocks set for next week)
Experience we are looking for:
ServiceNow SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) knowledge.
Hands-on experience designing, configuring, and optimising the following (SPM) capabilities:
- Demand Management - capturing, assessing, prioritising, and approving demands.
- Project Portfolio Management (PPM) - project creation, planning, execution, benefits tracking.
- Program & Portfolio Governance - stage gates, portfolio hierarchy, and investment tracking.
- Resource Management - capacity planning, skills matching, allocation across demands/projects.
- Financial Planning & Tracking - CapEx/OpEx, budgeting, and forecasting integration.
- Agile Development & SAFe - connecting portfolio strategy to delivery via Agile Dev 2.0 or Jira/Azure DevOps.
- Application Portfolio Management (APM) (if in scope) - managing technology and business application life cycles.
