Summary: The ServiceNow Software Engineer IV role is a remote position focused on developing and customizing ServiceNow applications, particularly in ITBM/SPM modules. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing various ServiceNow functionalities while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure best practices. This position requires a strong technical background in ServiceNow, JavaScript, and Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ServiceNow development and a commitment to improving process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and customize ServiceNow SPM applications, including workflows, UI policies, business rules, and integrations.
- Develop and maintain custom scripts (JavaScript, Glide API) and ServiceNow components.
- Implement and optimize modules such as Project Portfolio Management, Demand Management, Resource Management, Time Card, EAP and CWM.
- Build integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform upgrades, and ensure platform stability.
- Partner with ServiceNow administrators and architects to ensure best practices.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide technical documentation and user training as needed.
Key Skills:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required.
- 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, with a focus on ITBM/SPM modules.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide scripting, and ServiceNow APIs.
- Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer and Integration Hub.
- Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Reporting.
- ServiceNow CIS-SPM certification.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and frameworks.

WHAT YOULL NEED:
Technical Requirements and Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required.
Education and Experience
- 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, with a focus on ITBM/SPM modules.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide scripting, and ServiceNow APIs.
- Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer and Integration Hub.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Reporting.
- ServiceNow CIS-SPM certification.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and frameworks.
- Knowledge of financial planning and budgeting within ServiceNow.

- Build integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Automate processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Collaboration:
- Partner with ServiceNow administrators and architects to ensure best practices.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Agile:
- Experience being a member of a Scrum Agile team.
- Solid understanding of Agile principles.
Maintenance & Support:
- Troubleshoot issues, perform upgrades, and ensure platform stability.
- Provide technical documentation and user training as needed.
