  • Resolve issues where business rules fail to update software installs for devices marked as Retired, In Stock, or Stolen.
  • Enhance software lifecycle automation within ServiceNow.
  • Support continuous improvements in SAM workflows and compliance reporting.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing software discovery integrations, improving data quality, and automating lifecycle management processes using the ServiceNow SAM module. This role is remote and supports initiatives that ensure compliance, data integrity, and operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Integration Optimization

  • Review and enhance existing SCCM and JAMF integrations.
  • Optimize business rules, scheduled jobs, and workflows to ensure accurate software asset data.
  • Develop and maintain standardized Publisher Packs for approved software applications.

Discovery Data Analysis

  • Analyze data from Citrix Discovery (64,070+ software installs) for accuracy, duplicates, and normalization.
  • Identify and fix data quality issues from various discovery sources.

Issue Investigation & Resolution

  • Troubleshoot anomalies, such as incorrect Last Scanned dates (e.g., SG-JAMF).
  • Resolve issues where business rules fail to update software installs for devices marked as Retired, In Stock, or Stolen.

Automation & Lifecycle Enhancements

  • Enhance software lifecycle automation within ServiceNow.
