ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM Developer

Summary: The ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM Architect/Developer is responsible for designing, configuring, developing, and supporting ITSM and ITOM modules to enhance IT service delivery and operations. This role includes implementing workflows, integrating systems, and ensuring platform stability and compliance. The position requires strong technical skills and the ability to lead client discussions and manage technical teams. The role is contract to hire and is fully remote within the USA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and configure ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Request) and ITOM (Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping, Cloud Management) modules.
• Design probes, sensors, and patterns for various infrastructure types.
• Integrate ServiceNow with third-party platforms using REST/SOAP APIs and MID servers.
• Maintain and optimize CMDB using best practices for Discovery and Service Mapping.
• Automate IT processes with Flow Designer, workflows, and scripting.
• Create dashboards and analytics for ITSM/ITOM performance metrics.
• Lead client discussions, manage technical teams, and drive ServiceNow roadmap execution.
• Provide documentation, training, and support throughout implementation lifecycles.

Key Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 4-6 years of ServiceNow development experience.
• Mandatory certifications: CSA and CAD and CIS ITSM or CIS ITOM.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, and Glide scripting.
• Solid understanding of CMDB, ITIL processes, and Agile development methodology.
• Proven ability to deliver end-to-end ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM solutions with excellent communication and client engagement skills.
