Summary: The ServiceNow ITOM Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow ITOM suite, focusing on modernizing IT Operations and Event Monitoring. Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain ServiceNow applications using JavaScript, Glide API, and platform scripting.
  • Configure ITOM modules (Discovery patterns, MID Servers, Service Mapping).
  • Develop workflows, orchestration scripts, and automation for operational processes.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and middleware tools.
  • Enable data exchange between CMDB and third-party monitoring tools.
  • Implement platform upgrades, patches, and new features; conduct unit testing.
  • Ensure compliance with governance standards and maintain CMDB integrity.
  • Work with stakeholders to define requirements and produce technical documentation.
  • Support troubleshooting and provide knowledge transfer to operations teams.

Our confidential municipal government client is seeking a ServiceNow ITOM Developer to design, develop, and implement solutions within the ServiceNow ITOM suite, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Cloud Management. The role will focus on modernising IT Operations and Event Monitoring, replacing legacy tools (e.g., Microfocus) with ServiceNow.
