Description
ServiceNow GRC Technical SME
The ServiceNow GRC Technical SME will serve as the technical leader for ServiceNow IRM/GRC implementations, providing architecture guidance, solution design expertise, and technical governance across enterprise-scale programs. This role is responsible for ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions, mentoring development teams, reviewing technical designs, and driving platform optimization and integration best practices.
Functional Area Experience / Skills Required
8–10 years of overall IT experience, including 5+ years specializing in ServiceNow IRM/GRC solutions and enterprise-scale implementations.
Strong experience leading technical teams, establishing development standards, conducting architecture and code reviews, and driving platform governance.
Knowledge of risk, compliance, audit, and governance processes aligned with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, GDPR, and SOX.
Technical Skills / Systems Experience Required
Deep expertise in ServiceNow IRM/GRC, including JavaScript scripting, Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, ACLs, and Scoped Applications.
Strong integration experience using REST/SOAP APIs and integrating ServiceNow with platforms such as Archer, Qualys, Tenable, SAP, Identity Management Systems, and other third-party compliance tools.
Experience designing scalable and secure solutions across Risk Management, Policy & Compliance, Audit Management, Vendor Risk Management, and Business Continuity Management.

- Advise on and provide alternative (out of the box) solutions
- Provide thought leadership as well as hands on technical configuration/development as needed.
- Participate as a team member of the functional team
