Summary: The ServiceNow Functional Consultant Integration Lead will spearhead a significant integration project involving ServiceNow and various third-party systems, focusing on capturing functional requirements and translating them into technical designs. This role requires collaboration with business and IT teams to ensure successful implementation during a two-month execution phase. The consultant will also serve as the primary liaison among stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead discovery workshops with business stakeholders to understand current processes and define integration requirements
- Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements for ServiceNow integrations
- Translate business needs into detailed design documents and technical requirement specifications
- Collaborate with technical developers to build API integrations (REST/SOAP) between ServiceNow and systems like Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), CMDB/Asset Inventory, and others
- Define data mappings, transformation logic, and error handling frameworks
- Create test plans and support UAT and integration testing cycles
- Maintain traceability of requirements through the lifecycle of the project
- Serve as the primary liaison between the customer, ServiceNow developers, and external system teams
Key Skills:
- Strong functional understanding of ServiceNow and IntegrationHub capabilities
- Proven experience in designing and delivering integrations with 3rd-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs
- Experience working with Contract Systems, Procurement tools, and Asset Inventory platforms
- Strong ability to create BRDs, FRDs, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and other functional artifacts
- Familiarity with CMDB data modeling and lifecycle workflows
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including client-facing experience
- Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps
