Summary: The ServiceNow Enterprise Architect is tasked with designing and implementing scalable ServiceNow solutions that align with business objectives and ITIL best practices. This role acts as a strategic advisor and technical leader, ensuring the ServiceNow platform supports enterprise-wide service management and digital transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain the enterprise architecture framework for ServiceNow implementations.
- Lead architecture and design engagements across ITSM, ITOM, IRM, HRSD, and custom applications.
- Develop high-level architecture documents, Visio diagrams, and integration strategies with third-party systems.
- Architect and implement solutions using ServiceNow modules such as Discovery, Event Management, CMDB, Service Portal, and Orchestration.
- Oversee MID Server deployments and ensure secure, optimized communication between ServiceNow and external systems.
- Guide upgrade cycles and implement new release functionalities to enhance platform performance.
- Host Design Authority meetings to review and approve technical solutions.
- Establish coding standards, enforce architectural governance, and ensure alignment with enterprise policies.
- Engage with business and IT leaders to translate strategic goals into technical solutions.
- Lead workshops and educational sessions to promote platform adoption and innovation.
- Mentor junior architects and developers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) - Required.
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - ITSM (CIS-ITSM) - Preferred.
- ITIL Foundation Certification - Required.
- TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification - Preferred.
- 7+ years in enterprise architecture roles, with at least 3 years focused on ServiceNow.
- Proven experience designing and deploying ServiceNow solutions in large-scale environments.
- Strong background in cloud-centric architecture (Azure, AWS), integration frameworks (APIs, Mulesoft), and data modeling.
- Deep knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities and limitations.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise service management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
