Summary: The role of ServiceNow Developer involves designing, developing, and supporting ServiceNow solutions for a global life sciences organization undergoing a large-scale implementation. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and support ServiceNow solutions across ITSM and ITOM modules.
- Develop and configure ServiceNow workflows, business rules, client scripts, and applications.
- Support ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Service Catalog.
- Support ITOM capabilities such as Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB integrations.
- Design and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and MID Servers.
- Support CMDB data models, relationships, and reconciliation rules.
- Troubleshoot platform issues, defects, and performance challenges.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Functional Consultants, and Test Leads to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Ensure development aligns with ServiceNow best practices, platform standards, and regulatory expectations.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong experience developing solutions across ITSM and/or ITOM modules.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, and platform configuration.
- Experience building and supporting integrations using APIs and MID Servers.
- Solid understanding of CMDB architecture, data models, and dependencies.
- Experience working in regulated industries (life sciences, healthcare, manufacturing, or similar) is strongly preferred.

The ServiceNow platform supports mission-critical IT services and integrates with a complex ecosystem of infrastructure, application, and monitoring tools.
