Summary: The ServiceNow Developer role involves designing, configuring, and maintaining ServiceNow applications and integrations. The candidate should possess strong technical expertise in the ServiceNow platform, hands-on development experience, and a solid understanding of ITSM and ITIL processes. This position is a contract role lasting over six months and is fully remote. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various aspects of ServiceNow development and administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture (tables, scripts, workflows, ACLs, etc.).
- Experience with ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and CMDB.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow App Engine for building custom applications.
- Proficiency in JavaScript for ServiceNow scripting.
- Hands-on experience with Glide API (GlideRecord, GlideSystem, GlideAjax, etc.).
- Development of Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts, Workflow Scripts.
- Service Portal development using AngularJS, HTML, and CSS.

- Set up forms, fields, and UI actions.

- Configure and support Service Catalog and Request Management.

- Experience with SLA configurations, escalations, and notifications.
