Summary: We are looking for a ServiceNow Developer with expertise in building and managing integrations, particularly with Jira and other third-party systems. The candidate should possess strong ServiceNow development skills, including ITSM modules and scripting, and be able to translate requirements into technical solutions. This role emphasizes collaboration across business and IT teams and requires an analytical mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain solutions on the ServiceNow platform including custom applications, workflows, and integrations.
- Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and Jira, as well as other tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, CMDB sources, etc.).
- Develop REST/SOAP API-based integrations with internal and external systems.
- Customize and enhance ServiceNow ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, etc.).
- Write script includes, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, ACLs, etc.
- Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis related to integrations and platform performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Follow agile development methodologies and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Key Skills:
- 4-6 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
- Strong experience with ServiceNow integrations, especially with Jira (REST, webhooks, bi-directional sync).
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and MID servers.
- Experience in developing and consuming REST and SOAP APIs.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and implementation within ServiceNow.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- ServiceNow Certification(s) such as Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, or IntegrationHub Specialist preferred.
