Summary: The role of ServiceNow Developer involves providing managed services support and developing solutions across various ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide managed services support on the ServiceNow platform.
- Maintain and build catalog items for IT and non-IT teams.
- Build automations and integrations utilizing the integration hub.
- Oversee and maintain discovery schedules to ensure up-to-date and accurate CMDB data.
- Configure and enhance IT Service Management (ITSM) modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Knowledge Management.
- Implement and optimize IT Operations Management (ITOM) capabilities such as Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB enhancements.
- Contribute to Security Operations (SecOps) implementations, including Vulnerability Response, Incident Response, and Threat Intelligence modules.
- Develop responsive interfaces using ServiceNow UI Builder and other modern front-end tools.
Key Skills:
- 3-5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience, with proven expertise in ITSM, ITOM, and SecOps.
- Strong experience in ServiceNow Catalog Item creation and workflow automation.
- Proficiency in UI Builder and modern ServiceNow front-end development.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript, Glide API, REST/SOAP integrations, and JSON/XML.
- Experience maintaining discovery schedules and CMDB accuracy.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow.
