Summary: The ServiceNow Developer role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) solutions within the ServiceNow platform. The position requires a highly technical individual to optimize IT processes and ensure effective service delivery in complex environments. The role is remote and classified as inside IR35, requiring engagement through an umbrella company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customize and configure ITSM and ITOM modules, including Incident, Change, Problem, Request Management, Discovery, Event Management, and Orchestration.
  • Develop and maintain workflows, scripts, and integrations to support ITSM/ITOM functionalities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align ServiceNow implementations with organizational goals.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues within the ServiceNow platform and related integrations.
  • Create technical documentation and user guides for configurations, workflows, and processes.
  • Stay updated with ServiceNow upgrades, patches, and new features to maintain system reliability and performance.

Key Skills:

  • Extensive experience (3-5+ years) in ServiceNow development, including ITSM and ITOM modules.
  • Advanced knowledge of ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management, etc.) and ITOM capabilities (Discovery, Event Management, Orchestration).
  • Strong understanding of integration technologies (REST APIs, SOAP, JSON) and system architecture.
