Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Asset Management Team and EUC teams to document requirements.
  • Understand current workflows for bundle requests.
  • Create new bundle request within ServiceNow.
  • Develop ServiceNow to allow users to 'add to basket' required IT.
  • Configure workflows in ServiceNow.
  • Test the end-to-end workflow to ensure required IT can be added by the end user to a bundle.
  • Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and users during testing.
  • Produce a knowledge article to support the new IT hardware bundle request process.
  • Hand over a comprehensive build/configuration document to the IT support team.

A ServiceNow Administrator (SC Cleared) is required for our public sector client to review and update hardware Hybrid Working Bundle in ServiceNow to allow additional bundle items to be added by the end user in ServiceNow via an "add to basket" option. Additional bundles that would be available to be added are detailed below:

Contingent Labour Bundle

For this bundle, having a Mandatory Conditional Variable adding to the Hybrid Working Bundle order guide, stated as a question that will ask the end user for confirmation of Full Time or Contingent Labour.

Then if Contingent Labour is selected, only entitled End User Compute hardware is displayed for this selection such as Surface Pro, Headset & Arc Mouse.

iPhone Voice and Data Request Bundle

For this bundle, adding this to the Hybrid Bundle Order guide, to allow the end user to order this End User Compute hardware under one request.

This will be bringing efficiency and streamlining of the current processes/workflows, allowing one request to be made which contains all the required IT Hardware for the end user. Also, this will bring a cost saving element, reducing and consolidating deliveries from their IT Hardware supplier.

The key outcomes/deliverables required are as follows:

Fulfillment Requirements:

To work with the Asset Management Team and EUC teams to document requirements

Understand current workflows for bundle requests

ServiceNow Catalog Item Setup:

Create new bundle request within ServiceNow

Develop ServiceNow to allow user to 'add to basket' required IT

Configure workflows in ServiceNow

Testing and Validation:

Test the end-to-end workflow to ensure required IT can be added by the end user to a bundle as a request via 'add to basket' on the request

Work closely with stakeholders and users in testing to incorporate feedback and make necessary adjustments.

Documentation and Training:

Knowledge article to support new IT hardware bundle request process for Service Now and end users

Comprehensive build/configuration document handed over to IT support team.
