Job Title= Service Transition Manager
Location = Remote/Gosport
Duration= 6 months initially
Essential Skills
* Degree-level education or equivalent professional training and experience,
* Minimum of five years' experience in an IT service environment within a complex and diverse organisation,
* At least two years' experience in a service environment implementing ITIL service management principles and processes,
* Demonstrable experience and aptitude in working within a Matrix organisation, using effective negotiating and influencing skills while maintaining good working relationships,
* Sufficient technical background to understand core system architectures and the impact of new technologies; experience with enterprise-level applications is advantageous,
* Proven ability to manage personal and others' work, plan, prioritise, and meet tight deadlines,
* Ability to work independently, show persistence, foster good working relationships across teams, and contribute to the SMO team environment,
* Strong interpersonal skills and political awareness,
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to relate effectively to users at all levels and attention to detail,
* Strong analysis and problem-solving skills,
* Understanding of IT standards and a willingness to achieve further formal ITIL qualifications as required,
* Confident use of Microsoft Office tools, email, and web browsers.
