Summary: The ServiceNow Catalogue Editor role is a remote position focused on configuring and managing catalogue items within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a structured approach to quality, and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams and suppliers. This position requires hands-on experience with ServiceNow, particularly in Catalogue and Request Management. The contract duration is six months and classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and review catalogue items, ensuring usability and quality outcomes.
- Apply consistent standards during re-platforming to mitigate risks.
- Build trust with platform teams and suppliers through technical competence.
- Challenge poor practices constructively using evidence.
- Maintain catalogue items, record producers, variable sets, and UI policies.
- Manage update sets to track and promote changes between environments.
- Identify complexities in legacy workflows and support operational teams with fulfilment logic.
Key Skills:
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, specifically in Catalogue and Request Management.
- Strong understanding of update sets and their management.

- Understands how these components interact to drive user experience and fulfilment outcomes.
Update set discipline
- Practical experience and understanding of update sets to manage, track, and promote changes between environments.
- Understands the risks associated with poor update set hygiene during re-platforming and how to mitigate them.
Request fulfilment and workflow awareness
- Familiarity with request workflows and/or Flow Designer and how fulfilment logic supports operational teams.
- Able to identify where Legacy workflows introduce unnecessary complexity.
