Summary: The Service Introduction Manager role is crucial for a large retail banking client, focusing on the structured introduction of new services while adhering to ITIL change frameworks. The position aims to protect live services through effective change management and high-quality standards. This fully remote role is initially for six months and requires collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance live service quality by focusing on end-user experience.
- Ensure non-functional requirements are met for all changes.
- Continuously improve standards, processes, and practices within the team.
- Engage with projects early to incorporate operational and transition requirements.
- Define and improve the management system for tracking service improvements.
- Collaborate with Release/Implementation teams for process improvements.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
- Govern the delivery of all releases and high-risk changes.
Key Skills:
- Experience in Release & Change processes.
- Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and services.
- Experience in Change Management and managing stakeholder groups.
- Previous experience in Service Management, Release, or Service Introduction Management.
- ITIL qualifications and ServiceNow knowledge are desirable.
