Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate service design workshops with stakeholders, users, and cross-functional teams.
- Apply UCD methodologies to create seamless and inclusive user journeys.
- Work within GDS guidelines, ensuring services meet Service Standard assessments.
- Conduct user research and translate insights into actionable service improvements.
- Develop service blueprints, journey maps, and process flows to define service interactions.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, developers, and policy teams.
- Ensure services are designed with accessibility, scalability, and sustainability in mind.
- Advocate for user needs while balancing business and technical constraints.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Service Designer in public sector or government digital projects.
- Deep understanding of User-Centered Design (UCD) principles and methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of GDS standards, assessments, and accessibility guidelines.
- Hands-on experience creating service blueprints, journey maps, and process flows.
