Summary: The Service Designer role is a 3-month remote contract focused on enhancing user experiences for a public sector client during the discovery phase of a project. The position requires expertise in designing complex services that align with user needs and organizational goals, particularly within the context of digital transformation. The successful candidate will leverage user research and facilitate workshops to inform design decisions and engage stakeholders effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing large or complex services that meet user needs and organizational outcomes across all channels.
• Using user research and data to understand user needs, identify problems, inform design decisions, and influence stakeholders.
• Planning and facilitating workshops with senior stakeholders across organizational boundaries, end users, and/or internal users.

Key Skills:

• GDS Experience is a must.
• Experience in designing large or complex services.
• Ability to use user research and data effectively.
• Strong facilitation skills for workshops with stakeholders.
