Summary: The role of SC Cleared Service Designer involves supporting the design and enhancement of critical public services for vulnerable groups and young people within complex government programmes. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and improve end-to-end public services within complex government programmes
- Map services, user journeys and operational processes to identify pain points and opportunities
- Work closely with user researchers, product managers, designers and delivery teams to shape user-centred solutions
- Use research insights and service data to inform service and interaction design decisions
- Facilitate workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to co-design improved services
- Ensure services meet GDS standards and are prepared for service assessments
Key Skills:
- Active SC Clearance (essential)
- Strong experience delivering Service Design within Government UCD programmes
- Experience working to GDS standards and service assessments
- Comfortable working in Agile multidisciplinary teams
- Experience designing services for vulnerable groups or young people

A leading digital consultancy delivering large-scale public sector transformation programmes is looking for an SC Cleared Service Designer to support the design and improvement of critical services used by vulnerable groups and young people.
The Role
