Methods are looking for an experienced ITSCM for a 6 month project to work for one of our Government organisations.
The Role
IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) is to ensure that IT services are available as quickly as possible, when technical disruptions occur and to minimise the impact of incidents on business operations, such as downtime, costs, and reputational damage.
Candidates must have a strong track record of performing in a Service Continuity role, ideally within a ITIL & Public Sector environment. They will be expected to develop recovery plans, very much focused on Technology services and work alongside our Business Continuity partners to update our BCDR. To support this work, ITSM are currently identifying which remaining services need to be on-boarded into our CMDB to support BIA's to be carried out effectively.

Person Specification:
This role would best suit an individual who has a proven track record in delivery in a similar role
- Relevant qualifications, skills and experience in Service Continuity Management including development and management of Business Continuity plans
- Proven Skills and Experience working in a Public Sector role
- Ideally experience in working in a ITIL environment
- ITIL Foundation Certificate (minimum) or Service Operations Lifecycle module (preferable)
- Proven experience in communicating with a variety of stakeholders at different levels
- Strong Team working skills and management of line reports
- Able to work without supervision
- Strong inter-personal skills
This role will require you to have or be willing to go through Security Clearance.
