Summary: The SEO Content Contractor at Logical Media Group is tasked with developing and implementing SEO strategies to enhance the visibility of both client and internal marketing efforts. This role involves creating high-quality, optimized content, conducting keyword research, and analyzing performance metrics. The contractor will also manage project timelines, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide training to support staff. A strong understanding of SEO best practices and content marketing is essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Creating and strategizing high-quality, SEO-optimized content for both Logical Media Group and external clients.
  • Keyword research: Use keyword research and content strategies for targeting and ranking for high-volume keywords.
  • Optimization: Post optimized articles and/or optimized content following industry standards to our CMS platform, social channels and more.
  • Edit: Provide oversight of SEO content written by team members by editing and optimizing per SEO best practices.
  • Reporting: Outline key insights and takeaways from reports and other tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search console.
  • SEO Content Strategies: Craft SEO Content strategies and provide proactive recommendations for clients.
  • Deliverable Timelines: Formulate timelines for key deliverables and delegate tasks to team members.
  • Cross-Team Communication and Strategy: Work cross-functionally with web, paid, and creative teams.
  • Account Monitoring: Monitor monthly retainer and project hours to ensure maximum value for clients.
  • Continued learning: Keep up-to-date with and proactively research news and trends in SEO and content.
  • Business development: Identify opportunities for and pitch clients on up-sells.
  • Team training: Help train SEO Content support staff on basic management initiatives.

Key Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of SEO and how it applies to Content marketing.

An SEO Content Contractor at Logical Media Group will be responsible for various digital marketing activities, primarily focused on creating and developing strategy for copy with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices in mind in order to boost visibility of client marketing efforts and Logical Media Group internal marketing efforts, particularly in search engine ranking for projects as assigned. This will include site research, keyword research, content development, optimization, and performance analysis for our clients.

Deliverables

  • Content Creation: Creating and strategizing high-quality, SEO-optimized content for both Logical Media Group and our external clients target audiences. Responsible for writing 15-20 pieces of optimized keyword-rich SEO content based on variety of industries, topics, trends, and valuable industry updates which should be tailored to search engines and provide high value to targeted audiences.
  • Keyword research: Use keyword research and content strategies for targeting and ranking for high-volume keywords.
  • Optimization: Post optimized articles and/or optimized content following industry standards to our CMS platform, social channels and more. Optimize current copy, landing pages and metadata for maximum organic exposure and conversions while maintaining engaging targeted content.
  • Edit: Provide oversight of SEO content written by team members by editing and optimizing per SEO best practices.
  • Reporting: Outline key insights and takeaways from reports and other tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search console. Effectively articulate results of recommended optimizations and initiatives and formulate next steps accordingly (whether positive or negative).

Strategy Project Management

  • SEO Content Strategies: Craft SEO Content strategies and provide proactive recommendations for clients tailored to their unique goals, strengths, and challenges. Prioritize initiatives by impact and ease of implementation.
  • Deliverable Timelines: Formulate timelines for key deliverables. Delegate and assign deadlines for key deliverables to supporting team members.
  • Cross-Team Communication and Strategy: Work cross-functionally with web, paid, and creative teams to ensure on-time delivery of initiatives and cohesive digital strategy.
  • Account Monitoring: Monitor monthly retainer and project hours to ensure the client receives maximum value for retainer without significantly overspending on hours.
