Senior Yocto / Embedded Linux Platform Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve existing Yocto builds
• Lead upgrades and migrations between Yocto versions
• Develop and maintain recipes, layers and BitBake configurations
• Maintain SDKs and toolchains
• Prepare, package and support software releases
• Manage CVEs and security patches for open-source components
• Design update mechanisms, including partial and security updates
• Troubleshoot complex build, dependency and integration issues
• Support the platform’s long-term architecture and stability

Required expertise

• Strong production experience with Yocto and BitBake
• Proven ownership of Yocto-based platforms
• Yocto version upgrade and migration experience
• Recipes, layers, SDKs and toolchain maintenance
• CVE management and security patching
• Strong Embedded Linux engineering background
• C, C++, Python and Shell scripting

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months + extension

Conditions : Full remote

Rate: 35€ - 45€ per hour
