Summary: The Senior Workday HCM Lead is responsible for the end-to-end implementation and optimization of a complex Workday solution, requiring expertise in both technical configuration and strategic business process design. The position is critical for conducting Fit-Gap analysis and ensuring data integrity and security. The role is remote and expected to last for over 12 months with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and optimization of Workday HCM solutions.
- Conduct Fit-Gap analysis and define global business processes.
- Support cross-functional teams in delivering robust solutions covering HCM, Payroll, and Talent Management.
- Ensure data integrity and security throughout the implementation process.
- Provide expertise in technical configuration and business process design.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday implementations.
- Knowledge of U.S. and/or Canada Payroll processes and compliance.

- Workday Certification in multiple modules, especially HCM.
- Exceptional communication skills for translating business objectives into system requirements.

Role Overview
Workday HCM Lead will play a pivotal role in the end-to-end implementation and optimization of a complex, multi-entity Workday solution. This position requires a subject matter expert who can seamlessly navigate the intersection of technical configuration and strategic business process design to support a diverse organizational structure. This position will support cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of a robust solution covering HCM, U.S./Canada Payroll, Talent/Performance Management, Advanced Compensation, Prism, Journeys, Help. This position will be critical in performing Fit-Gap analysis, defining global business processes, and ensuring the integrity and security of our data
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting, configuring, and leading Workday implementations.
- Proven experience with U.S. and/or Canada Payroll processes, regulations, and compliance is a plus.
- Extensive experience in multi-entity environments.
- Experience with data migration and integration tools is a plus.
- Prior experience with PeopleSoft HCM is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of Workday s data structure, business processes, security model, and configuration options across in-scope Workday modules.
- Methodical Testing and meticulous attention to detail in data validation, configuration and documentation.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex business objectives into system requirements for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Works under little supervision
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor s degree in information technology, Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
Certifications:
- Must be Workday Certified in multiple modules, with a mandatory certification in Workday HCM.
- Additional certifications in Workday Payroll, Advanced Compensation, or Talent are highly preferred.
