Summary: The Senior Workday Configuration Analyst will lead and execute configuration tasks within the Workday platform, ensuring effective system design and functionality. The role requires collaboration with HR, IT, and external partners, along with troubleshooting and documentation of configuration decisions. The candidate must have extensive Workday experience and be based in either Sommerset, NJ, or Austin, TX, with remote work options available. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute Workday configuration tasks, including security group setup and maintenance, business process design and optimization, and platform settings and tenant configuration.
- Serve as a Workday subject matter expert during implementation phases.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and external Workday partners to ensure alignment on system design and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues, especially those related to security and access.
- Document configuration decisions, workflows, and system architecture.
- Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on Workday functionality.
- Support post-implementation stabilization and enhancement efforts.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of Workday experience, including at least one full-cycle implementation.
- Deep understanding of Workday security frameworks and business process configuration.
- Experience with Workday platform administration (non-development).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
