Summary: We’re looking for a Senior Visual & Motion Designer to help bring a digital product to life through high-quality visuals and thoughtful motion. This role focuses on creating visual and animated assets for real, shipped product experiences - particularly onboarding, setup flows, product introduction screens, and small interaction moments that make the product feel clear, human, and premium. You’ll own the creative execution end-to-end, from idea through to production-ready assets, working closely with product designers and engineers.

What you’ll do and work on:

  • Visual and motion design for a live financial product
  • Onboarding and setup experiences
  • Product introduction and explainer screens
  • Completion and celebration moments
  • Subtle micro-interactions and UI motion
  • Occasional product marketing and acquisition visuals

The focus is on shipping quality assets, not creating guidelines or long-term frameworks.

Responsibilities:

  • Create visual concepts for product screens where the content and imagery are not yet defined
  • Design and produce motion for key product moments (onboarding, setup, confirmations, micro-interactions)
  • Translate ideas into production-ready assets that can be implemented by engineers
  • Work with product designers to ensure visuals and motion support the overall experience
  • Collaborate with developers on formats, feasibility, and handoff (e.g. Lottie, Rive, video etc.)
  • Maintain a high bar for visual quality, clarity, and restraint

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong visual design fundamentals (layout, composition, colour, hierarchy)
  • Proven experience designing motion and interactions for digital products
  • Experience creating assets that have shipped in production, not just concepts
  • Ability to own creative decisions and propose ideas, not just execute instructions
  • Comfort working with developers and understanding technical constraints
  • A portfolio that shows:
    • Product visuals
    • Motion / animation work
    • Clear examples of real, implemented outcomes

You don’t need to code, but you do need to understand how your work lives inside a product.
