Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead discovery initiatives to uncover user needs, market opportunities, and business constraints
  • Define and apply Innovation Design methodologies (Design Thinking, Lean, etc.), including AI-augmented research and prototyping
  • Partner with UX Researchers to design and execute mixed-method testing and validation plans
  • Synthesize user, customer, and business insights into actionable design strategies
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops exploring Generative AI-enabled value propositions
  • Present findings, risks, and recommendations to senior and executive stakeholders
  • Advocate for user-centred design and responsible, ethical use of AI
  • Mentor team members in innovation practices and emerging GenAI-powered workflows

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years' experience in UX Design, Innovation Design, or similar roles
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional, time-bound innovation projects

Job Title

Senior UX Designer - Healthcare

Contract Details

  • Type: 6-month contract (with potential extension)

  • Start Date: February 2026 (approx.)

  • Openings: 2

  • Location: Remote (UK - London preferred; US candidates also considered)

  • Travel: 1 visit to London office per month


Role Overview

  • Lead early-stage discovery and innovation projects focused on next-generation, AI-enabled digital experiences

  • Balance speed and rigor by making informed, data-driven design decisions in ambiguous problem spaces

  • Work within a large, global Innovation Design practice delivering high-impact solutions in health and education
