Summary: The role of Lead UX/User Researcher involves leading user research activities for a digital consultancy, primarily supporting clients within the Ministry of Defence (MOD). Key Responsibilities:
- Lead user research activities including interviews, workshops, and usability testing with senior MOD stakeholders and end users
- Develop and maintain personas, user journeys, and experience maps to guide design decisions
- Design wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups using Figma
- Define, implement, and maintain a scalable design system aligned with accessibility and performance standards
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure seamless design-to-code alignment, particularly within React (TypeScript) environments
- Document research insights, design decisions, and UX guidelines using Confluence
- Champion inclusive design practices and ensure compliance with WCAG accessibility standards

The role is predominantly supporting clients within MOD, so we are specifically looking for candidates that have current/recent experience working with MOD/Military/Public sector clients.
