Senior Testmanager - Provisionsabrechnung (m/w/d)

Summary: The role of Senior Testmanager focuses on collaborating with project management and work package leaders to enhance quality and efficiency in testing processes within a renowned insurance company. Responsibilities include planning and improving testing strategies, managing defect processes, and ensuring comprehensive test coverage. The position requires a strong background in IT test management, particularly within insurance core and sales processes. Monthly travel is expected in a block format, approximately four days per month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaboration with project management and work package leaders in the project
• Coaching work package leaders to enhance quality and efficiency in testing
• Planning and continuous improvement of testing strategies for manual and automated tests including roles and responsibilities
• Creation and maintenance of test plans in coordination with project management, work package leaders, and departments
• Establishment and management of the defect management process (prioritization, tracking, reporting, escalation)
• Monitoring test progress and creating regular test reports and status updates
• Ensuring test coverage and quality across all testing levels

Key Skills:

• Solid experience as an IT test manager
• In-depth knowledge of insurance core processes and sales processes (must-have)
• Expertise in compensation processes and commission mechanics
• Knowledge of intermediary processes and intermediary data
• Experience with MS365, Jira, Xray, and Robot Framework
• Methodological knowledge in test management
• Communication skills, teamwork, problem-solving abilities
• Critical thinking, adaptability, and resilience
• Monthly travel willingness in block format (approx. four days)
