Digital Skills is working with a leading specialist in Testing. We are supporting this client by sourcing expert developers in test with strong Java and automation skills. You will be working remotely on sensitive Government services, as such you will be required to undergo SC Security Clearance, if you have not already got an active SC Clearance.

This means, this role is open for UK Nationals, or those with ILR who have lived in the UK consecutively for the past 5 years.

Required Skills

• Excellent Java skills
• Automation skills in Selenium, Cucumber
• Strong knowledge of REST API (RestAssured, Postman)
• Version control in Git
• Experience with CI/CD tools, especially Jenkins.

You will be Responsible for Test Automation; Developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Java and Selenium. You will also be responsible for API Testing; Design and execute automated tests for REST APIs to ensure functionality, performance, and security.

This role touches on Test Strategy; helping to define, document, and implement test strategies and methodologies for both new and existing features as well as Bug Tracking.

You will be required to Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools (eg, JIRA) and work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide timely feedback on test results.
