Key Responsibilities
- Lead testing activities across the service, agreeing priorities and delivery plans with Product Owners and Delivery Managers.
- Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Carry out manual testing of web applications where required.
- Deliver functional and non-functional testing, including accessibility, performance and compatibility testing.
- Ensure applications are tested and delivered in accordance with UK Government standards.
- Support CI/CD processes and quality gates through Azure Pipelines.
- Work collaboratively within an agile delivery team to continuously improve testing processes and standards.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with Node.js and Java.
- Proven experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright and/or WDIO.
- Experience delivering accessibility, performance and compatibility testing.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Pipelines.
- Knowledge of Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
- Experience working on UK Government digital services.
- Strong understanding of agile delivery environments and modern software development practices.
