We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Lead to support the implementation of PeopleSoft Finance on a large-scale public sector modernization program.
Responsibilities
- Serve as senior technical lead for the PeopleSoft Financials implementation, with primary focus on General Ledger.
- Apply GAAP-based accounting principles to system configuration, financial reporting dashboards, and accounting transaction reconciliation.
- Define and manage the key data required for interfacing external systems with the General Ledger.
- Lead technical troubleshooting and incident management processes, including root cause analysis and resolution tracking.
- Author and maintain technical documentation, including functional and technical requirements, design documents, conceptual diagrams, user guides, and workflow processes.
- Lead Agile development activities, including sprint planning, documentation of functional specifications and acceptance criteria in user stories, and planning and leading functional, user acceptance, and regression testing.
- Experience as a senior technical lead supporting the implementation of PeopleSoft Finance, including General Ledger, GAAP-based accounting principles, financial reporting dashboards, and accounting transaction reconciliation, with experience handling the key data required for interfacing with the General Ledger.
- All qualifying experience must be on large-scale projects, defined as a system having at least 5,000 system users and a total project cost of at least $20 million, including planning, design, development, and implementation.
- Experience must be on a public sector project.
- PeopleSoft Financials lead experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience leading technical troubleshooting and incident management processes.
- Experience creating technical documentation, including functional and technical requirements, design documents, conceptual diagrams, user guides, and workflow processes.
- Experience leading Agile development activities; more than three years is preferred, with each additional year an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.
