Summary: We are looking for five Senior Technical Architects to lead a significant technology transformation initiative within the Government sector. The role demands extensive hands-on technical architecture experience and a solid software engineering background. Successful candidates will guide technical decision-making across various delivery teams, ensuring the development of scalable and secure digital services. Government experience is a prerequisite for consideration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop high-level and detailed technical architectures across complex digital systems.
- Provide architectural leadership and direction to agile delivery teams.
- Ensure proposed solutions align with technical strategy, standards, and best practice.
- Review technical designs, providing assurance around quality, scalability, and maintainability.
- Engage stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical designs.
- Participate in architecture governance and assurance processes.
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience as a Senior Technical Architect in large or highly regulated environments within Government.
- Strong software development background (eg, Java, .NET, Python, Node, etc.).
- Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, CI/CD, and containerisation.
- Experience delivering in agile and DevOps-focused environments.
- Ability to explain and justify design decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
