Job Description: Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead Tableau report creation and dashboard architecture.
- Design enterprise-grade Tableau dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting solutions.
- Convert business requirements into scalable analytical solutions.
- Work closely with Data Architects, Data Modelers, and Data Engineers to consume curated Gold-layer datasets.
- Design certified, reusable Tableau published data sources over multi-fact dimensional models and conformed dimensions.
- Confirm fact grain, join and relationship behavior, aggregation logic, and drill-down paths.
- Define KPI frameworks, business metrics, and reporting standards.
- Implement complex calculations, LOD expressions, parameters, sets, table calculations, and reusable KPI logic
- Optimize dashboard performance and query efficiency on Snowflake.
- Implement row-level security and governed access controls.
- Drive data validation, reconciliation, and reporting certification processes.
- Mentor junior BI engineers and establish Tableau development standards.
- Lead stakeholder walkthroughs, design reviews, sprint demonstrations, and defect triage.
- Support controlled promotion across development, test, and production environments
Leadership and Communication
- Ability to lead requirement and design workshops
- Strong analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting
- Ability to explain complex reporting logic to business and technical users
- Experience mentoring developers and conducting peer reviews
- Ability to manage design decisions, dependencies, risks, and delivery commitments
