Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years enterprise SQL engineering experience
- Deep PostgreSQL expertise
- DBT transformation experience
- Advanced query tuning and performance diagnostics
- Experience in financial or regulated environments
- Prior Level 2/3 SQL Support in large environments desired
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead PostgreSQL architecture and performance optimization
- Design and optimize complex SQL queries supporting APIs and DBT models
- Analyze execution plans and tune high-volume workloads
- Implement indexing and partitioning strategies
- Conduct database health assessments and capacity planning
- Develop SQL investigation playbooks for L2 escalations

- Reduce DBT runtime and transformation failures
- Improve database query performance
- Structure database monitoring and maintenance procedures
