Key Responsibilities:

- Assist users in creating and building SQL and/or Oracle databases.
- Establish and enforce database security policies and user access controls.
- Respond to requests for change (RFCs) for maintenance and enhancements.
- Perform server maintenance and install software patches.

Job Description
You will be responsible for defining, supporting, securing, and administering SQL Server databases to ensure optimal performance and availability. You will perform a variety of activities including database management, performance tuning, backup and recovery, security management, diagnostics, and issue resolution. And you will have the opportunity to grow technically and professionally while working in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 years experience in database management
- Proficiency across a wide range of database technologies, including:
- MS SQL
- SQL Server
- SQL Cluster Environments
- Maria DB
- MySQL
- PostgreSQL
- Oracle
- MS Access
- Experience creating and managing standalone SQL databases
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve issues
- Experience troubleshooting daily SQL Server, SQL Cluster, Oracle, and/or MS Access issues, including error triage
- Experience troubleshooting application related issues (e.g., MS applications, Oracle applications, etc.) as they relate to database development, support, and management
- Experience responding to requests for change (RFCs) for maintenance and/or enhancements
- Experience assisting users in creating and building SQL and/or Oracle databases
- Experience performing server maintenance, installing software patches, etc.
- Experience establishing and enforcing database security policies, user access controls, and data encryption
