Key Responsibilities:
- Provide SQL and Oracle database and server support, including maintenance and development activities.

- Respond to Requests for Changes (RFC) and FootPrints requests related to GBIS.
- Assist users in creating and building SQL and Oracle databases, troubleshooting related issues.
- Perform server maintenance, install software patches, and identify issues.
- Communicate effectively with different levels of employees and management.

SCOPE OF WORK:
State Client has a wealth of server-based applications that require backend databases. The primary databases in use are SQL and Oracle. The purpose of this procurement is to acquire support, development and maintenance services for the SQL and Oracle database environments as well as SQL and Oracle Server support. This includes but is not limited to, SQL database servers, Oracle database servers, Maria DB, MySQL, MS Access and the SQL Cluster environment. This support will allow client to maintain the functional integrity of the SQL server and SQL Cluster environment and their accompanying applications as well as standalone Oracle databases. SQL server is a necessary component in systems that support the business of the client to include all business units throughout. It is critical that the subject matter experts (SME's) possess in-depth understanding of SQL, Oracle, MS Access, SQL Server and SQL Cluster technologies.
Mandatory Experience
1. The Offeror's SMEs are required to have a minimum of 8 years' experience in database management.
2. The SMEs must have proficiency in the following database disciplines: MS SQL, SQL Server, SQL Cluster Environments, Maria DB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MS Access.
3. The SMEs must be proficient in creating and managing standalone SQL and Oracle databases.
4. SMEs must be able to identify issues, perform server maintenance, install software patches, etc.
5. The SMEs must be able to work individually and as part of a team.
6. The must also be able to communicate with different levels of employees and management.
REQUIREMENTS/TASKS.
Task 1: SQL / Oracle Database & Server Support
This task includes general SQL Database, SQL Server, SQL Cluster, Oracle Database, Maria DB, MySQL, and MS Access support, development and maintenance activities as needed.
Anticipated needs and work activities include, but are not limited to the following:
Task1, Subtask1: Troubleshooting daily SQL Server and SQL Cluster issues. This includes system setups and configuration, error triage, etc.
Task1, Subtask2: Respond to Requests for Changes (RFC) assigned for maintenance as well as FootPrints requests related to GBIS.
Task1, Subtask3: Assisting users in creating and building SQL and Oracle databases. Troubleshooting issues related to SQL, Oracle, or MS Access as well as application related issues i.e. SharePoint and others as they relate to database development, support, and management.
