Role: Senior SQL Data System Integrator

Location: Austin, TX (Remote: Anywhere in Texas)

Duration: 25+ Months

Summary:

The client has issued a request for a Senior Systems Analyst to support projects that involve system integrations, data exchange interfaces, data warehouse requirements, and end-to-end testing. This role works across business, IT, and development teams to turn requirements into technical specs, data mappings, interface designs, and test artifacts while also helping troubleshoot production issues and support system enhancements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SQL-based analysis, XML/JSON/API integrations, data warehouse teams, and the ability to move from business requirements through SIT, UAT, and production support.

The Worker(s) will provide the following services:

Perform analyst work overseeing one or more projects concurrently. Complete evaluations of existing and future capabilities, conduct research into solution alternatives, enhance system capabilities, and provide advice to stakeholders. Participate in joint application design sessions with customers and IT staff to define business requirements and develop software systems requirements. Communicate effectively with users to determine requirements of new processes and applications or modifications to existing processes and applications. Perform system configuration, document business processes and prepare project documentation with a high level of attention to detail, strong organization skills and technical aptitude. Use standardized project management processes, tools and techniques to address project needs. Develop test artifacts and conduct testing to include User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and develop training documentation for various team projects. Work closely with developers to track defects and resolutions. Perform deep technical and analytical reviews to analyze system functionality with customers and resolve production issues. Assist with creating, maintaining and enforcing global standards. Perform other analysis and documentation tasks as required to facilitate and support team projects. Assist in the diagnosis of problems associated with applications and write detailed specifications for developing or correcting issues to improve system performance and/or accuracy. Perform other duties as assigned to maintain operations.

Required Skills:

4-7 Years of Experience with system integrations and data exchange interfaces

4-7 Years of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Visio)

4-7 Years of Analyzing data from a variety of source systems and different database technologies using SQL

4-7 Years of Experience with Data Mapping and Transformation

4-7 Years of Experience with Interface/Architecture design and documentation

4-7 Years of Converting business requirements into technical specifications

4-7 Years of Gathering, analyzing, and generating data visualization requirements for a data warehouse

4-7 Years of Experience writing detailed test cases and test scenarios

4-7 Years of Strong understanding of end-to-end systems validation

4-7 Years of Experience in writing SIT and UAT test plans

4-7 Years of Experience in working on a data warehouse (both relational and dimensional) team (DB2)

4-7 Years of Experience in translating requirements into data visualization needs

4-7 Years of Experience with XML/JSON/API integrations

4-7 Years of Familiarity with REST/SOAP services and Secure data exchange (SFTP, certificates)

Preferred Qualifications:

2 Years of Unemployment Insurance (UI) or workforce systems (highly preferred)

2 Years of Experience working with SIDES modules (EVF, ADF, DD, BC, MPC)

2 Years of Experience with Natural programming language

2 Years of Experience in Public Sector delivery

2 Years of Texas Workforce Commission experience
