Senior Software Test Engineer

The Opportunity

We're working with an organisation investing heavily in the next phase of its digital platform, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Test Engineer to help shape, develop and scale its automated testing capability.

The platform is still in its relatively early stages but is now moving into an exciting phase of growth, with increasing complexity, new functionality and a greater emphasis on automation, quality and accessibility.

This isn't simply about executing test scripts. We need someone who can get involved technically, influence testing approaches and help establish robust, scalable automation practices as the platform evolves.

What We're Looking For: You'll be a hands-on Senior Test Engineer with strong experience across:

• TypeScript: Strong coding capability, particularly developing and maintaining automated test frameworks using TypeScript.
• Test Automation: Proven experience designing, building and scaling automated testing solutions across modern web platforms.
• Azure: Experience working within an Azure technology environment, ideally incorporating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Accessibility Testing: Practical experience testing against accessibility standards (WCAG), using relevant accessibility testing tools and techniques.
• API Testing & Mocking: Experience using tools such as WireMock, Mocky or similar to simulate APIs, manage dependencies and support automated testing.
• Quality Engineering: A proactive approach to identifying risks, improving test coverage and embedding quality throughout the development lifecycle.
