Summary: Our Fortune 100 client is seeking a Senior Software Developer in Test to enhance their engineering team, focusing on reliable and scalable software solutions in an event-driven environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in test automation, CI/CD integration, and API testing, particularly with Kafka and Confluent Platform. This position is fully remote but requires candidates to work Eastern Time hours within the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute test plans and test cases with traceability to requirements.
- Integrate test automation within CI/CD pipelines.
- Utilize software testing methodologies including functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
- Collaborate in Agile teams using version control (Git).
- Validate code quality, performance, and reliability through secure testing practices.
- Quickly learn and apply modern data and event-driven technologies.

Essential Skills:
