Summary: The Senior ServiceNow Technical Consultant will lead solution architecture discussions and create high-quality technical documentation and user stories. This role involves delivering implementations, maintaining platform integrity, and ensuring processes meet functional requirements while collaborating with clients and teammates. The consultant will tackle various technical challenges and mentor junior consultants to enhance team capabilities. The position is remote-first with occasional travel to customer sites across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Applying strong knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including core functionality and upcoming features
  • Demonstrating deep expertise in one or more specialised platform modules
  • Taking the lead on projects and initiatives that generate clear value for clients
  • Facilitating client workshops and showcasing potential platform solutions
  • Building and maintaining key client relationships, ensuring effective and transparent communication
  • Leading collaborative project delivery in line with defined scope and agreed timelines
  • Upholding best practice and quality assurance standards throughout development
  • Collaborating with solution consultants during scoping and design phases
  • Mentoring and supporting the growth of junior consultants, helping build capability within the team

Key Skills:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience configuring and deploying ServiceNow solutions
  • Proven implementation experience across various ServiceNow products, such as IRM, TPRM, HRSD, and ITSM
  • Strong development skills in JavaScript and platform configuration
  • Up-to-date ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification
  • Additional certifications (e.g., ServiceNow Certified Application Developer) are highly desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and requirements gathering
  • Demonstrated leadership in team settings, with a focus on mentoring and development
  • A proactive mindset and problem-solving approach

Senior ServiceNow Technical Consultant 6 Month Contract Rate: £450-500 per day outside IR35 Remote First with travel to customer sites UK wide when required In this key role, you’ll lead solution architecture discussions and be instrumental in shaping high-quality technical documentation and user stories. You’ll play a vital part in delivering implementations, maintaining platform integrity and ensuring processes align with functional requirements. Throughout project lifecycles, you’ll collaborate closely with clients and teammates to support the delivery against agreed commercial objectives. You’ll encounter a wide range of technical challenges and will work alongside colleagues to identify and implement the best solutions.
