Summary: The Senior ServiceNow Developer role is a long-term remote contract position requiring extensive experience in ServiceNow and related technologies. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, PPM, Service Portal, and Employee Portal.
- Administer and configure ServiceNow environments, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
- Implement and integrate APIs with external applications.
- Utilize automated testing frameworks and guided tour designers for quality assurance.
- Conduct resource planning and translate high-level specifications into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with teams and manage external staff effectively.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in waterfall and agile development methodologies.
- 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow modules and customization.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting languages including HTML5, CSS, AngularJS, JavaScript, Jelly, and Glide APIs.
- Experience with web services, PowerShell, and shell scripting.
- Knowledge of database technologies including SQL, NoSQL, and RDBMS.
- Familiarity with CMDB, Discovery, Orchestration, and Performance Analytics.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts simply.
- ITIL v3 Foundation certification required; CSA, CAD, CIS ITSM, CIS ITOM, and CTA certifications preferred.
