Summary: The Senior ServiceNow Developer role involves collaborating with IT colleagues to enhance the performance of the ServiceNow platform within the finance sector. The position requires operational support primarily focused on ITSM and fostering a creative environment for change delivery. The role is remote and is offered as a 6-month contract starting in March 2025. Candidates must possess strong experience in ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM, along with ITIL certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with IT colleagues and support the ServiceNow Manager to deliver a stable and performant ServiceNow platform.
  • Identify ways to improve performance and effectiveness of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Create an efficient yet open/creative environment for delivering change.
  • Be responsible for the operational support of the client's ServiceNow Platform(s), primarily focusing on ITSM.
  • Build effective relationships with supporting departments, partners, and customers.
  • Help develop the broader team in line with their objectives and technical career paths.

Key Skills:

  • Strong demonstrable experience of ServiceNow ITSM including workflow, Incident/Change/Problem, scripting, portal design, CMDB.
  • Demonstrable experience of ServiceNow ITOM including Discovery and Event Management.
  • Experience of other ServiceNow modules (HR, Legal, IRM, SecOps, etc).
  • Understanding of development lifecycle and software life cycle in general.
  • Ability to work with others and effectively work alone.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification.
